About the catalogue

cryptocardcatalog is a catalogue of crypto cards aimed at readers for whom an ordinary bank card is difficult to get or use. Each entry opens into a review carrying a score of up to 10. The home page lists cards by score, and the sections divide the same entries by card type.

The catalogue issues no cards, sells none and handles no applications.

What the catalogue does not do

An entry is neither an advertisement nor financial, legal or tax advice. Methods of dodging identity checks, sanctions or national rules are not explained anywhere on the site.

Scoring of each entry

Marks come from five criteria rated 0 to 10: ease of getting the card, cost, ways of topping up, reliability as shown by the issuer’s record and user reports, and ease of daily use. Availability and cost weigh a quarter each and reliability a fifth. Top-up and daily use divide the rest. An unknown figure costs the card nothing and is shown as not disclosed.

Sources for entries

The first source is whatever the card publishes itself: its site, help centre, legal terms and fee tables. Gaps are filled with figures from review sites and users, flagged as unofficial. Since conditions change frequently, an entry shows the date to which its details are current.
